Beschrijving keerzijde The denomination numeral '50' is rendered in large, bold characters at the centre of the field, with the Cyrillic inscription 'КОПЕЕК' (kopecks) positioned immediately below. The central design is framed by a decorative wreath of stylised leafy branches extending from a foliate ornament at the base, curving upward to frame the denomination on both sides, with small circular pellets punctuating the inner border of the wreath throughout.

Aanvullende informatie

Transnistria's coinage program launched in 2000 was a deliberate assertion of economic independence by a state unrecognized by any United Nations member. The Transnistrian Republican Bank issued these aluminum bronze kopeck denominations knowing full well they would circulate only within a territory of roughly 500,000 people wedged between Moldova and Ukraine — a monetary system serving a political fact the international community refused to acknowledge.

The Schön 5.1 designation hints at a subsequent variety; collectors should verify the reverse die details, as the series was revised within a few years of its initial release.
