| Beschrijving voorzijde | A provisional issue based on the 1987 Czechoslovak 50 Korún note (P#96), overstamped with a rectangular adhesive stamp bearing the Slovak coat of arms and the inscription 'SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA' to validate it for circulation in the newly independent Slovak Republic. The central vignette carries an intaglio portrait of Ľudovít Štúr at right, with a large numeral '50' guilloche medallion at left and an eagle vignette in the centre. The denomination 'PÄŤDESIAT KORÚN ČESKOSLOVENSKÝCH' and the date '1987' appear across the lower centre. |
