| 正面描述 | A large intaglio vignette of two ram's horns, rendered in fine engraved line work, dominates the right half of the note against a pale underprint of a Faroese landscape. The bold intaglio denomination numeral '50' appears at upper centre with the value legend in serif capitals below, while a circular Faroese arms motif occupies the upper left field. Yellow fluorescent dot security patterns are scattered across the underprint, and a vertical embedded security thread is visible toward the right margin. |

| 备注 |
The Faroese 50 Krónur series has gone through several incremental security upgrades since the mid-1990s, and this 2011 Type 2 variant is distinguished primarily by its thicker embedded security thread — a modification driven by counterfeiting pressures that affected small-denomination notes across Nordic and North Atlantic territories during the late 2000s. Landsbanki Føroya worked closely with De La Rue on the revised specification, which also tightened the watermark definition relative to earlier printings.
Zacharias Heinesen, the Faroese painter behind the original designs for this series, had no involvement in the security revisions — his artwork was retained unchanged.
