| Obverse description | Central field displays the coat of arms of Estonia — a heraldic shield bearing three blue leopards (lions passant) arranged vertically, flanked by crossed oak branches with acorns. The shield is set within a raised circular border against a dark annular field. The legend EESTI VABARIK arcs across the upper portion of the annular band, and SAAREMA arcs along the lower portion, both in raised Latin capitals separated by raised dots. The engraver's initials ВБ (Vitaly Bakhtinov) appear in small Cyrillic characters at the base of the central motif. The piece is struck in octagonal format with a polished proof-like finish. |
