The shield is set within a raised circular border against a dark annular field. The legend EESTI VABARIK arcs across the upper portion of the annular band, and SAAREMA arcs along the lower portion, both in raised Latin capitals separated by raised dots. The engraver's initials ВБ (Vitaly Bakhtinov) appear in small Cyrillic characters at the base of the central motif. The piece is struck in octagonal format with a polished proof-like finish. |

| 裏面の説明 | A detailed high-relief depiction of a Roman snail (Helix pomatia) in left profile occupies the central and lower field, shown crawling across broad leaves with fine surface texture rendered on both the shell and the foliage. A small sprig with a single leaf appears to the right. In the upper field, the denomination 50 is inscribed in large numerals, accompanied by the currency abbreviation Ee Kr to the upper left in smaller characters. The date 2023 is placed in the mid-field to the right of the snail's extended tentacles. The overall composition is set against a dark mirror field with a beveled octagonal border. |
