| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black on cream paper and is dominated by a large central arch-shaped mihrab vignette with elaborate interlaced arabesque scrollwork forming the border frame on all four sides. Within the arch, a decorative medallion with geometric ornament is centred above several lines of Ottoman Turkish script in naskh hand setting out the note's text and legal obligation. A circular official seal appears in the lower centre, flanked by the denomination numeral, with additional Ottoman script inscriptions along all margins. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is plain, printed on the same cream paper, and bears five large circular black wax or ink seal impressions arranged in a quincunx pattern across the surface, each seal carrying Ottoman tughra or official calligraphic inscriptions.
