| Obverse description | The face is enclosed within an elaborate interlaced guilloche border filled with floral and arabesque motifs, executed throughout in fine letterpress. A central oval medallion bears the Imperial Ottoman tughra, flanked by ornate cartouches carrying the denomination in Arabic script. A multi-line Ottoman text inscription runs across the upper register, the dense decorative fill leaving little ground visible. |
