Both houses were in regular rotation for Honduran issues during this period, and distinguishing output by printer requires checking the lower margin imprint rather than any visible design difference.

The optically variable ink on the denomination numeral was a relatively new addition to Honduran security printing at the time this series launched, introduced partly in response to counterfeiting pressure on the 50-lempira denomination specifically.
