| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is conceived in the manner of optical art, featuring a prominent spherical silver bead at the centre, struck in high convex relief to create an almost sculptural effect. Surrounding this central element are rhythmically repeating concentric circles of varying sizes, arranged at irregular intervals to generate a powerful illusion of rotation, movement, and spatial depth. The denomination inscription 50 LITŲ is present within the design, integrated into the overall optical composition. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Issued as part of Lithuania's numismatic art series exploring abstract concepts, this piece was struck the year before Lithuania adopted the euro, rendering it one of the last commemorative litas issues the central bank would ever authorize. The litas itself had survived Soviet occupation only in memory, reintroduced in 1993 after a post-independence transitional currency, and was retired permanently on January 1, 2015.
The title translates roughly as "50 Litas Form" — the denomination functioning as part of the artistic statement rather than a conventional face value.
