Obverse description Central vignette presents the Palais Beit-ed-Din, rendered in fine intaglio engraving against a lightly wooded hillside backdrop, framed by elaborate floral guilloche borders in violet and rose tones. Arabic inscriptions reading 'Bank Suriya wa Lubnan' appear at the top, with the denomination '50' in Arabic numerals at upper corners and 'Khamsun Lira' at lower right. The date and two signature facsimiles appear at the lower left, beneath the serial number panels.
