(Translation: Carlos II by the grace of god king of Spain and Naples 50 Para)
Reverse description Reverse of the host Spanish silver coin of 1694, displaying the crowned Spanish royal arms with the quartered shield of Castile and León, flanked by the Pillars of Hercules with scrolling banners. The design is characteristic of the Carlos II-era coinage produced at the Naples or Spanish mint. The legend and field show considerable wear consistent with long circulation prior to countermarking. The date elements '16 94' are partially visible within the design, along with the denomination indication 'AG A G TARI' referencing the Neapolitan monetary unit (grani/tarì). The overall surface exhibits the smooth, worn character typical of heavily circulated late 17th-century Iberian silver.
