| 备注 |
The Junta de Conversión was Argentina's currency conversion board, established under the 1899 Conversion Law to fix the peso moneda nacional to gold at a rate of 2.2727 paper pesos per gold peso. These notes replaced the earlier issues of the Caja de Conversión and circulated during a period of relative monetary stability — unusual by Argentine standards of the period.
ABNC's engraved work for Argentine issues of this era is among the finest in their South American portfolio. The Hernández 791 reference places this squarely in the standard 1910 series run, prior to the gold convertibility suspension forced by World War One in 1914.
