背面描述 Printed in green on a plain light ground, the reverse carries the date '1919' in an ornamental cartouche at top centre, flanked by the German legend 'Lettlands Staats-Kassenschein' to the left and the Russian legend 'Обязательство Гос. Казн. Латвии' to the right. A central circular vignette contains the Latvian state arms — a quartered shield with a rising sun and stars within a wreath — set within a radiating sunburst border, with 'KUBEL' and 'РУБЛЕЙ' inscriptions and oval '50' counters positioned on either side. Counterfeiting warning texts in German and Russian occupy the lower left and lower right panels respectively.

备注

Latvia's first independent currency issues of 1919 were produced under genuinely chaotic conditions — German forces, Soviet forces, and nascent Latvian national units were all operating on the same territory simultaneously, and the Treasury was functioning out of Liepāja rather than Riga for much of this period. The rublis was a transitional currency by design, intended to displace the occupying powers' wartime scrip while a more permanent monetary system was organized.

Pick 6 is among the higher denominations of the first Treasury series. Notes from this issue are frequently encountered with evidence of heavy short-term use, which reflects the inflationary pressure that ultimately forced the introduction of the lats in 1922.
