| Obverse description | Printed in blue intaglio with red text and black serial numbers, the note presents elephant columns flanking both vertical margins, with allegorical reclining female figures along the lower border — an ox at lower left and a tiger at lower right. A ribbon vignette at the top center carries decree inscriptions, beneath which the issuer name and multilingual denomination legends appear in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Urdu, English, and French. The engraver's and designers' credits — A. BRAMTOT ET G. DUVAL FEC. and CH. WULLSCHLEGER SC. — are inscribed in the lower margin. |
