A stylised bird perches at the left of the central motif, adding a naturalistic element to the design. The legend REPUBLIKA·ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ arcs across the upper periphery, separated by a central dot, while the date 1920 appears in the lower exergue. The design reflects the Art Nouveau-influenced style employed by engraver Otakar Španiel for the early Czechoslovak pattern coinage. |
