Opmerkingen

COMAL — the Cooperativa Mixta de Ahorro y Préstamo — operated as a Honduran agricultural cooperative network in the late 20th century. The Udi was a community currency unit issued internally for use among member cooperatives, bypassing the national banking system entirely. These notes circulated within a closed circuit of rural producers and were never legal tender in any formal sense.

Paper survival is poor. Most examples saw heavy handling in agricultural communities with little interest in preservation.
