Molossia is a micronation founded by Kevin Baugh, occupying a residential property in Dayton, Nevada. The Valora, its official currency, is pegged not to any national fiat currency but to the price of cookie dough — a deliberately absurdist monetary policy that Baugh has maintained with straight-faced consistency. This coin was issued as part of Molossia's broader project of sovereign self-presentation, which includes passports, a navy, and a standing declaration of war against East Germany that was never formally rescinded after reunification.
