| Obverse description | The Gothic Town Hall of Wrocław occupies the right half of the note as a detailed intaglio vignette against a complex guilloche underprint in shades of violet and red. The large numeral "50" appears at lower left and upper left within the ornate geometric latticework border, flanked by an acanthus scroll ornament at centre; the Polish eagle device is set within a multi-lobed rosette at lower left. Two facsimile signatures appear below the eagle alongside the issuing authority inscription and the date "WARSZAWA 1 MARCA 1990". |
