| 背面描述 | Central vignette of a medieval royal seal of Casimir the Great, rendered in intaglio, showing a crowned double-headed eagle within a circular frame. A royal orb and ornate sceptre are crossed in the foreground below the seal. Architectural vignettes of medieval Kraków (labelled CRACOVIA) are visible to the right, with a city view labelled CASMIRUS at left, all printed in blue-green tones over a multicolour guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral 50 appears in green at lower left, with the NBP monogram at lower right. |

| 备注 |
Andrzej Heidrich designed nearly every major Polish banknote issued between the 1970s and 2012, and this 50 Złotych was among his final contributions to the series before his death in 2019. The engraving credit to Jim Moore is notable — Moore worked extensively for the American Bank Note Company and later for De La Rue, and his name appearing on a note printed entirely in Warsaw reflects the common practice of licensing intaglio plate work across borders rather than cutting new dies domestically.
The series ran with only minor technical updates through 2017, the security thread specification being the primary revision between print runs.
