| 背面描述 | The reverse is rendered in blue-green tones centred on a vignette of a mosque or civic architectural subject framed within a geometric guilloche border. The English bank name 'Da Afghanistan Bank' runs across the top panel, flanked by decorative corner devices, while the denomination '500' appears in Western numerals at upper right and in Arabic-Indic numerals at lower right. The inscription '500 Afghanis' is lettered at lower left alongside the Pashto denomination. |

| 备注 |
P#73 belongs to the post-Taliban reconstruction series introduced after the 2002 currency reform, when the new afghani replaced the severely debased mujahedeen-era notes at a rate of 1,000 old afghanis to one new. The 500-afghani denomination was one of the higher-value notes in that inaugural polymer-free run, printed on cotton substrate at a time when Afghanistan's monetary infrastructure was being rebuilt almost from scratch under IMF guidance.
The "30.04.1945" print date almost certainly reflects the Afghan Solar Hijri calendar rather than the Gregorian — SH 1383 corresponds to 2004 CE, and that date format is consistent with the series.
