| 背面描述 | Architectural intaglio vignette of the Teatro Popular Rubén Darío, the national theater of Managua, rendered in precise line engraving at the left side of the note, showing the modernist building's facade with its elevated walkway and surrounding landscaping. A large guilloche rosette dominates the center-right, with the denomination numeral 500 superimposed in bold intaglio, flanked by intricate lathe-work border panels at each side. The issuer's name runs along the upper margin, with the spelled-out denomination below the central numeral. |

| 备注 |
Nicaragua's mid-1980s notes were issued during a period of accelerating hyperinflation driven by the Contra war and a US trade embargo — the 500 Córdobas denomination, substantial when first authorized, had been effectively eroded long before these notes finished printing. Thomas De La Rue produced the series to a reasonable technical standard, but the economic conditions meant new, higher denominations were already in planning by the time this note reached circulation.
The 1988 monetary reform replaced the Córdoba at 1,000-to-1, rendering the entire series obsolete within three years of issue.
