The 2024 issue reflects an ongoing revaluation effort after a further crisis in 2020–2021, when the dollar lost roughly half its value against the US dollar within months following fiscal collapse tied to the Bouterse-era debt accumulation. G+D's Leipzig plant handles the printing — the same facility that has supplied numerous Caribbean and South American central banks for decades.
