Comments

The Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale issues notes for six member states of the CEMAC zone — Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon — each receiving the same note design differentiated only by a letter code. The 606C designation places this in the Cameroon allocation. Three signature combinations appeared across the 2002 series, reflecting successive changes in the bank's directorate rather than separate print runs; the Abaga-Nchama pairing is the least frequently encountered.
