| Obverse description | Printed in shades of red and orange on a multicolour guilloche underprint, the obverse carries the bank title in an arched red letterpress legend at top. To the left is a circular vignette of the Czechoslovak heraldic lion, while to the right an intaglio portrait medallion shows a young woman in period dress. The large denomination numeral '500' is set within an elaborate central guilloche rosette, flanked by two smaller '500' counters, with the value inscription 'PÄŤSTO KORÚN ČESKOSLOVENSKÝCH' in a prominent red panel below. Three manuscript signatures of bank officials appear at the foot of the note. |
