| 背面描述 | A central intaglio vignette illustrates artisans casting bronze and working on a standing statue of General Mahabandoola, set within a workshop scene with additional figures and a traditional building visible in the background. The composition is framed by elaborate green and purple guilloche borders with scrollwork at the corners. The issuer name appears in a dark band across the top and the denomination legend in a matching band at the foot of the note. |

| 备注 |
Myanmar's 500 Kyat notes of this period circulated during the final years of the State Peace and Development Council's tightest economic controls, when the official exchange rate was held at roughly 6 kyats to the dollar while the black market rate exceeded 1,000. The practical result was a note whose face value meant radically different things depending on which economy you were operating in.
P#79 is a relatively short-lived type, superseded by updated issues as Myanmar's banking sector was gradually, haltingly liberalized through the late 2000s.
