| Opmerkingen |
Issued in 2021 to commemorate Azerbaijan's victory in the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War — the 44-day conflict of autumn 2020 that ended with a Russian-brokered ceasefire and significant territorial gains for Baku — this is a commemorative high-denomination note rather than a workhorse of circulation. G+D in Leipzig has printed Azerbaijani currency since the manat's redenomination in 2006, making the relationship well-established, though commemorative issues of this type rarely see meaningful time in wallets.
The watermark remains the primary listed security feature, modest for a 500-manat face value in 2021.
