| Obverse description | A central oval vignette contains a standing armed soldier at centre, with a burning village at left and farmers harvesting at right, evoking the themes of resistance and agricultural life during the occupation. The denomination 500 appears in large numerals on both sides of the vignette, with a guilloche-patterned underprint in green and yellow tones throughout. Greek inscriptions appear at top, with two manuscript signatures and a date line below the vignette, and the printer's imprint at the bottom margin. |
