| Obverse description | Intaglio portrait vignette of Sayaqbay Qaralayev (1894–1971), the celebrated manaschi and custodian of the Kyrgyz epic Manas, rendered in dark tones against a fine guilloche underprint in violet and rose hues occupying the left-centre of the note. To the right, a stylised sword motif with ornamental scrollwork is set within radiating guilloche patterns, flanked by a large circular intaglio seal element and a denomination numeral 500 in decorative lettering at lower right. The left margin carries a vertical security stripe with repeated microtext and optically variable ink elements, with the issuer inscription КЫРГЫЗ БАНКЫ at upper right and the Cyrillic name and dates of the subject inscribed below the portrait. |
