Obverse description At centre, an intaglio vignette of the Sat Gambuj Mosque (Seven Domed Mosque), a 17th-century Mughal provincial architectural landmark situated in the Mohammadpur area on the northwestern outskirts of Dhaka. At right, a portrait of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, founder of Bangladesh and first head of state, revered as the Father of the Nation. The design incorporates fine guilloche underprint patterns across the note field.
