| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold, naturalistic depiction of a Bauhinia flower (Zambia's national flower) in full bloom occupies the centre of the field, with sweeping petals and sinuous tendrils extending dynamically toward the rim, engraved by Norman Sillman. The denomination SIX PENCE is inscribed along the lower portion of the field, flanked on either side of the numeral 6D, with the letter D serving as the pence abbreviation positioned centrally between the two words. The floral motif is rendered with strong sculptural relief, emphasising the organic curves of the blossom against the smooth coin field. |
