备注

Peveril Camp, located near Peel on the Isle of Man, held Category B and C civilian internees during the Second World War — largely German and Austrian nationals, including a significant number of Jewish refugees who had fled Nazi persecution only to be interned by the British government under Defence Regulation 18B. The camp's internal currency was a practical measure to prevent internees from accumulating sterling, which could theoretically be used to fund escape or passed to outside contacts.

Isle of Man internment scrip is notoriously difficult to attribute with precision — production was rudimentary, official records are fragmentary, and multiple camps issued their own denominations concurrently.
