Surrounding the central motif, nine additional butterflies and moths of varying species are depicted in finely milled relief across the lower and lateral fields, arranged in a naturalistic, scattered composition. The Cyrillic legend С ПРАЗДНИКОМ! arcs along the upper rim of the coin in incuse lettering. The overall design celebrates the beauty of lepidoptera in a decorative, commemorative style typical of Moscow Mint collector issues. |
