| Obverse description | Against a deep blue colored field, a stylized view of Pha That Luang (the Great Stupa of Vientiane) is depicted in the left-center, rendered in fine relief. To the right, a bouquet of narcissus flowers rises in high relief against the colored background, accompanied by two polychrome colored butterflies — one in the upper right field and one in the lower center.
