Obverse description Bust of King Mehadeyis facing right, depicted in schematic style typical of late Aksumite coinage, with a wheat stalk motif flanking the royal effigy. The portrait is rendered in low relief within a circular field. A surrounding Ge'ez legend identifies the ruler as King of Aksum. The coin bears a suspension hole pierced at the top, indicating secondary use as a pendant.

Reverse description Central cross in low relief, surrounded by a double concentric circular border enclosing a Ge'ez legend. The cross is of simple equal-armed form, characteristic of early Christian Aksumite iconography. The design is rendered in hammered technique with irregular flan edges. A suspension hole is visible at the upper right, consistent with the obverse perforation.
