| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Titus facing right, rendered in the provincial hammered style typical of Herodian coinage. The effigy displays the characteristic wreath of laurel atop the head, with drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait, reading ΑΥΤΟΚΡ ΤΙΤΟC ΚΑΙCΑΡ CΕΒΑC, identifying the emperor as Titus Caesar Augustus. The flan is notably thick and irregular at the edges, consistent with the hand-struck bronze coinage of this region and period. |
