| Obverse description | Crude hammered silver flan bearing the tughra or royal cipher of Sultan Murad III rendered in bold Arabic calligraphy, occupying the central field. The inscription is executed in a dense, interlocking Thuluth script typical of late sixteenth-century Ottoman akçe coinage. The irregular planchet exhibits the characteristic uneven edges and slightly convex surfaces associated with hand-struck Ottoman small silver. Portions of a marginal legend are visible around the periphery, though partially off-flan due to the small coin diameter. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays the mint name and regnal year in Arabic script, arranged in two lines within the central field. The upper portion bears the mint formula indicating the place of striking, while the AH date 982 appears below. The lettering is boldly struck but somewhat irregular, consistent with hand-hammered Ottoman provincial coinage of the period. The flan edges are ragged and uneven, a hallmark of the akçe denomination produced at the Baghdad mint during the reign of Murad III. |
