| Obverse description | Central field bearing the ruler's name and regnal titles in Arabic script, arranged in multiple lines within a roughly circular flan typical of hammered Crimean Khanate coinage. The legends are executed in a cursive Arabic hand characteristic of late medieval Islamic monetary tradition. The inscription identifying Ghazi III Giray occupies the majority of the die area, with auxiliary titles or honorifics disposed in the surrounding field. The irregular flan edges, a natural consequence of the hand-striking process, partially obscure portions of the marginal legend. |
