| Obverse description | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of the deified emperor Claudius II Gothicus facing right, wearing a radiate crown characteristic of the antoninianus denomination. The effigy is rendered in a crude, barbarous style typical of unofficial imitations, with simplified facial features and coarse die-cutting. The surrounding legend is largely illegible or absent, as is common with barbarous radiates of this type. The flan is irregular and of noticeably reduced weight and module compared to official Roman issues. |

| Reverse description | An eagle standing facing left with wings spread, head turned, rendered in a simplified and debased barbarous style imitating the official CONSECRATIO reverse type issued posthumously in honor of Claudius II Gothicus. A partial, blundered legend is visible in the upper field, reading approximately CONSEC or a garbled approximation thereof, consistent with barbarous copying of the prototype. The overall execution is crude, with shallow relief and irregular die alignment. No exergue inscription is discernible. |
