背面描述	The reverse depicts, in relief, both sides of the Miraculous Medal side by side within the round field. On the left, the standing figure of the Virgin Mary with rays of light emanating from her hands, surrounded by the oval Marian legend and stars, with the date 1830 in the exergue. On the right, the Marian monogram surmounted by a cross, with two hearts below — one crowned with thorns and one pierced by a sword — surrounded by twelve stars. The maker's mark 'P-B' appears at the bottom of the field. A beaded rim borders the whole.
