背面描述 A charioteer driving a quadriga at full gallop to the right, rendered in the energetic, abstracted Celtic idiom characteristic of the Hungarian group. The four horses are depicted in a lively, somewhat disjointed arrangement, and a spoked wheel is visible in the lower left field. The legend VWENN appears in the exergue below the horses. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border.

附加信息

The "Hungarian Group" designation covers a loose cluster of late La Tène silver issues whose precise tribal attribution remains unresolved — candidates include the Eravisci and neighboring groups operating in the Carpathian Basin as Roman influence was steadily compressing Celtic political space to the north and west. By the mid-first century BC, many such groups were issuing coinage not primarily for trade but to pay warriors and signal political cohesion under intensifying pressure from both Roman expansion and the Dacian kingdom under Burebista, whose campaigns in the 60s–50s BC disrupted Celtic settlement across the middle Danube region considerably.
