| Obverse description | Three ornate pillars or columns arranged vertically in the field, each surmounted by a crescent; retrograde or mirrored E-shaped letters flanking the pillars on either side, all contained within a beaded border. The design is executed in a primitive Romanesque style characteristic of early medieval Hungarian coinage. |
