| Obverse description | A heraldic lion passant facing left, rendered in a crude medieval style, occupies the central field within a beaded inner circle. The lion's body is depicted with stylized musculature typical of 13th-century Tirolean coinage. A circular legend in uncial Latin characters surrounds the inner circle, reading MEINHARDUS COMES, identifying the issuing count.
