正面描述 Frontal enthroned effigy of Christ Pantokrator, nimbate with a cruciform nimbus, depicted in half-length or full figure seated upon a jewelled throne with beaded side posts. Christ raises his right hand in a gesture of benediction and holds the Gospels in his left hand. Abbreviated Christological inscription appears in the field to either side of the nimbus. The overall style is characteristic of late medieval Balkan Byzantine-influenced coin engraving.

附加信息

Vukašin Mrnjavčević and his son Marko ruled Prilep during one of the most turbulent stretches of medieval Balkan history, caught between a fragmenting Serbian empire and advancing Ottoman forces. Vukašin died at the Battle of Maritsa in 1371 — the same engagement that shattered organized Serbian resistance in Macedonia — leaving Marko to continue issuing coinage as a nominal vassal of the Ottomans. Marko himself died fighting for the Ottomans at the Battle of Rovine in 1395, ending the lordship entirely.
