| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed in red-brown on a light underprint, the obverse carries the Libyan eagle coat of arms as a vignette to the left, set within an ornate guilloche border with arabesque corner rosettes and the fractional denomination 1/4 repeated at each corner. A central oval guilloche cartouche bears the denomination in Arabic script, below which a manuscript signature appears, with a serial number in both Arabic-Indic and Western numerals. The issuing authority inscription in Arabic runs along the upper panel. |

To the right, a large ornamental medallion with floral and geometric intaglio work balances the composition, while the denomination 1/4 appears in each corner within guilloche panels. The issuer name in English, "Central Bank of Libya", is inscribed across the top, with "Quarter Dinar" lettered along the lower border panel. |
