| Descrizione del dritto | Two standing figures face forward in Byzantine hieratic style flanking a central axis: at left, King Stefan Dragutin robed in royal garments holding an akakia in his left hand, and at right, the patron saint Stephen the Protomartyr similarly robed and holding the book of Gospels in his left hand. Both figures extend their right hands toward the center to jointly support a pendant labarum-style flag or banner. The composition reflects the dynastic legitimizing formula common to medieval Serbian coinage, with the secular ruler paired with his heavenly patron. The surrounding legend reads SSTEFAN REX STEFAN. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Christ Pantokrator depicted nimbate and enthroned facing, rendered in the Byzantine tradition with a cruciform nimbus about the head. He is shown in frontal majesty holding an open book of Gospels in his left hand, with his right hand raised in a gesture of benediction. The throne is flanked by decorative elements typical of medieval Serbian die work, and the field bears the abbreviated Christogram legend IC XC at left and right respectively. The overall composition closely follows Byzantine iconographic conventions prevalent on contemporary Balkan coinage. |
