| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by the Trinitarian formula arranged within a square border, with a cross on a stepped pedestal prominently displayed in the lower portion of the square. The Arabic legend is distributed across multiple horizontal lines within the square, reflecting the Christian devotional formula adapted for Ilkhanid coinage at Tiflis. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, characteristic of hammered silver production. The overall design reflects the unique confluence of Christian and Islamic iconographic traditions encouraged under Arghun's reign in Georgia. |
