| Reverse description | Central field displays a three-line Arabic mint and date legend struck in naskh script reading 'Duriba fi / Mosul / 982' (Struck in Mosul, AH 982 / AD 1574–1575). The Hijri date 982 appears in the lower line in Eastern Arabic numerals. The flan is irregularly shaped with an uneven edge characteristic of hand-hammered Ottoman provincial coinage, and the strike shows moderate weakness at the margins. No additional ornamental devices or border elements are present. |
