| Obverse description | Tughra of Sultan Murad IV rendered in bold calligraphic strokes, occupying the central field of the flan. The imperial monogram, characteristic of Ottoman coinage, is executed in Arabic script with the interlocking loops and vertical strokes typical of the period. The strike is irregular, consistent with hammered silver coinage of the Baghdad Eyalet. |
