| Obverse description | Janiform conjoined bust comprising a diademed bearded male head facing left and a diademed female head facing right, rendered in the Greco-Persian artistic tradition. The two effigies are depicted back-to-back, sharing a common neck, with fine detailing in the facial features and diadems. The style reflects the strong Athenian iconographic influence prevalent in the Philistian coinage of the fifth and fourth centuries BC. |
