The overall die style reflects the late Kushano-Sasanian artistic tradition, with strong Sasanian iconographic influence adapted by the Hephthalite rulers of the Kabul region. |

The altar and flanking attendants are rendered in a schematic, degenerate style characteristic of late Hephthalite imitative issues. A beaded border frames the entire reverse field. The design shows considerable wear and die deterioration consistent with the irregular, hammered fabric of this series. |
